I have been in and out of the music industry for over 40 years. Beginning as an entertainer, I have done everything from production and promotion, to booking and management. While living in Los Angeles for many years, I worked within the field of music, film and tv. I also dealt in vintage and collectibles, as well as owned a designer resale and vintage boutique where I sold and rented high end clothing and costumes to the studios for movies and tv. I also manufactured my own small clothing line from upstairs in that store.

Now I spend most of my time creating art, and building and maintaining websites. Come join me at the Digi Scrap Cafe, you are welcome to promote and sell your digital art there and have some fun with challenges, freebies, and more.

Sojournstar aka Angela Hobbs is an ex entertainer and performer, who traveled the road for many years, including shows in Japan, China and Europe.
Lived in Los Angeles for many years, and worked within the film, tv, and video business, among other things, and was an asst. dresser to costume designer Judy Evans, on Benson and Golden Girls (rip Rue, Bea, and Estelle) as an on call stylist for several years.
Sojournstar loves fashion, and is completely in love with costuming, (Bob Mackie was one of my favorites) as well as period and vintage clothing.
Show and stage clothing is a big passion, as well as art and graphics.

  1. I noticed that you re-posted from my blog. I also noticed that you are into paganism. I am a Christian and would prefer that my posts are not on a blog that also has connections to paganism. Please remove the post. Thank you.

    1. I am sad to say your post has been deleted. I was born and raised Christian, my Mother, a Christian, married my Father, a British Pagan in 1950 and they were happily married for more than 40 years, until my Father passed.

Although raised Christian, I learned to open myself up to include good people of all faiths and religious beliefs.

I am also sad to say you are not the kind of Christian I grew up with, nor associate myself with now, as they are a kinder, gentler, more informed people.

      Blessed Be!

      WOW

gee lady, I am a Christian, and my congregation does not discriminate against people of any religion, or race or color. You my dear, are not a Christian, and need some schooling on how to be a human being…

Angela, I love your blogs and always have, please don’t let someone so narrow minded and stupid make you feel bad, you are a wonderful person, and she, well, she has a lot to learn about being a Christian.

I did notice she has used some Pagan elements from some of the artists I know, like Bren. That is so wrong, after what she said to you. Could it be she just does not know she is using and associating with other Pagans, and other folks who are are not Christians, lol, serves her right… Let’s not tell her.

By the way, LOVE the new blogs, WordPress has always alluded me, but they are much more beautiful than Blogger I think. I still have not done much with the blog I started there I had been so busy with the website and working with CNN. Maybe I will try WordPress since so many folks I know have migrated here.

Anyway, Bren mentioned this horrible comment you had received, so I had to come see for myself.
We could fill WordPress with Pagans and Wiccans and Witches Oh My! .
You know I have many friends like yourself that are not “Christians” (I place the quotes there in reference to this Karen woman 😉 LMAO!

Love you Angie, keep being your beautiful Pagan self. You have always been kind, and a great help to me at times, don’t let bad people make you feel bad, this Karen woman should be ashamed of herself, or at least stop telling people she is Christian, she is an embarrassment.

  2. Dear Offended Christian,

I’m terribly sorry that your feelings are hurt again. I feel badly about that. None of us likes to be criticized, so I totally get it.

I know I’ve said some pretty hard words to you recently, and maybe I’ve been somewhat less than “cheery” in my delivery, but that happens when you’re tired.

    And I am really tired:

NEEDED TO SHARE THIS…. because I am the one still offended by the above comment miss
    KJDdesigns left me….

These folks have no idea how evil that is, Jesus never turned anyone away, did not condemned them for different beliefs, he was only about spreading love, healing and peace….. Yeah I know a bit about Jesus, but I am still a Proud Pagan.
